Patrick Lanigan, a lawyer with a crumbling marriage and shifty partners who are planning to fire him, wants out. So he fakes is own death, steals $90 million from his former law firm, and disappears. Five years later, he gets caught...
One of Grisham's best novels for the sheer excitement of the fast-moving plot. Great pleasure reading.

Easy read and very enjoyable. Hard to put down because you had to know what would happen next. And the ending is something I never would have expected.

I really enjoyed this book. I wouldn't say it was my favorite, but I would highly recommend and glad I read! Great story line!

The believability of this plot makes you want to read as much as possible in one sitting as possible. It seemed that with each page there was an unexpected twist and there were surprises throughout. This was a solidly written book that I enjoyed reading immensely.

Another great Grisham novel that takes you deep into both litigation and financial strategy. A great story that shows you how its really the lawyer the makes the difference in any case. Also on of those books that makes you think about what you would do if you had the same opportunity…
