This book is based in Las Vegas. Book is hardback and comes with jacket. Book is in excellent condition. Not from a smoke free enviroment however books are kept in a closet on shelves they do not smell of smoke according to a non-smoker that I have asked.

Parker is the best in combining suspense and wit. Great story!

Great Series. I've read every book by Robert Parker. I think he does the best dialogue in the business! The TV series, Spenser for Hire, starring the now deceased Robert Urich, was based on this series. A fast, smart, funny read.

I enjoy the P.I.Spenser novels. Easy reading and great for an afternoon read while sitting under a tree.
