I had a difficult time staying with in this book, but was determined to finish it. I was thinking it would get better. I think Patricia should keep to her Kay Scarpetta series.

Some of the book is written from the perspective of animals, from a dog to a trout. It just didn't work for me. Where is Scarpetta when you need her??
Alice H. (As tightly knit as her other works are, this one wandered all over the place - unable to make up its' mind whether to be comic, mysterious, thrilling. Frankly, it was so loose, for me, it was none of the above. BUT I really DO love all her Kay Scarpetta books!
Not one of my favorites, but still a good read.
Another good Cornwell novel, about a little island of the coast of Virginia making its own rules.

A Patricia Cornwell attempt at humor?????
This isn't Cornwell's usual novel, but a wry look at law enforcement. Didn't particularly care for this one.
I am a Patricia Cornwell admirer. I have read all of her books and the "Isle of Dogs" was one of my favorites. A good read
