Book Description:
The cold, blustery Midwest winters don't exactly agree with Betsy Devonshire, but since moving to Excelsior, Minnesota, she sure has met a lot of warm, friendly people. So she isn't too surprised when the town's most talented needle workers volunteer to restore a damaged tapestry that was found in the basement of a local church. Betsy even offers to donate materials for the project, thinking that the free publicity will boost sales at her financially troubled needlecraft shop. But soon Betsy is afraid of losing more than her business -- because her good intentions have unleashed some deadly secrets...

Third installment in the needlecraft mysteries and the best one so far. The writing has really come together, the characters personalities solidified and the details fine tuned to perfection. Looking forward to reading the rest in this series!

So far, this is my favorite in the Needlecraft Mysteries. This was not so much a find-the-killer mystery as to find someone who is TRYING to kill (and failing with several attempts). A real page-turner.

Small-town needleworkers stitch together the clues to a crafty crime. The art of needlecraft requires patience, discipline, and creativity. So, too, does the art of detection.

Good read, complicated story, but like some mysteries, you begin to gather the clues but wonder who they connect to.

This is the third book in the series about a craft shop owner who solves murders on the side. Very enjoyable, and even comes with a cross stitch pattern for you to try!
