Book Description:
Feng shui practitioner Salome Waterhouse can spot a bad vibe from a mile away. Usually a simple rearranging of a room can patch things up. But occasionally, she has to delve a little deeper... Even before Salome inherited her grandfather's infamous Perfume Mansion, she knew it had bad energy. Which was why she chose to rent it out to artist Palmer Fordham instead--and keep her distance. But that was before the phone call. Before an anonymous someone hired Salome to give the artist a feng shui birthday consultation. And before she showed up at the mansion to find Palmer dead. Now, Salome is the prime suspect in the wrong place at the wrong time. Talk about bad feng shui...

What a unique and fresh idea for a cozy! The plot was fun and the storyline contained lots of info about feng shui practices. I felt like I learned a ton! I was guessing until the end about who the murderer was. Salome Waterhouse is a great character. Can't wait to read the next one.

My favorite in the Feng Shui series by Denise Osborne. Doesn't everyone like hidden staircases and hidden rooms? Shades of Nancy Drew with a feng shui overtone.
