The CEO of a large pharmaceutical company has invited Carolyn Blue and her husband to the Big Apple for some serious wining and dining. But before she gets a chance to get a true taste of New York, the CEO is dead-keeled over after a heaping helping of pastrami. Talk about high cholesterol. Or was it high crime?
"Food columnist Carolyn Blue is a confident and witty detective with a taste for good food and an eye for murderous detail." (Earlene Fowler)

This was pretty good. It was amusing to see how the husband and wife both saw the same situation from different angles. However, I didn't really enjoy the way the author kept switching back and forth on points of view. It's all first person, but one chapter would be the wife's pov, the next chapter would be the husband's, then back to the wife, etc. Other than that, it was a pleasant, if somewhat predictable read.

I didn't enjoy this book as well as I did the first in the series. Hopefully it is just this book and I will enjoy the rest of the series.
