I LOVE all of Nora Roberts (writing as J.D. Robb) In Death series books and this one doesn't disappoint. The dynamics and interplay with Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke is great as always. Another great one by Nora Roberts aka J.D. Robb!

Very good read. Set in 2059 in New York City with Lt. Eve Dallas as the Detective with the NYSPD. Married to one of the richest men in the world and one of the smartest when it comes to electronics, Eve usually gets her husband to help her solve the murders assigned to her and her partner Detective Peabody.

The 1st cop on the scene fired his stunner twice. Louie died instantly. Detective Dallas has taken over the ivestigation, but there's nothing to explain the man's sudden rage or death. The only clue is a bizarre message left on his computer screen.
