A fun, light hearted detective story set in a world where dinosaurs live among us, disguised as humans. Silly, but the prose lets it work, and I enjoyed it.

very different book. but very enjoyable.

Very funny and quirky. The jacket calls it a "cult classic." Think of Dashiel Hammett as a dinosaur! The author imagines a society that includes dinosaurs which are not extinct. They actually became part of the human population by developing various guises. Of course humans don't know a person is actually a dino, but fello dinos know because of the smell. Really different and fun.

Very clever, lots of fun to read. Who would've thought dinosaurs would be sexy? Enjoyed this immensely!

Interesting world where dinosaurs (who never really became extict, but have evolved to human size)live among humans, wearing latex disguises. One of the dinos is a private detective who investigates the accident/murder of his partner and encounters strange creatures (stranger than human size dinos?), love, genetic experiments, and finds a new partner in the end.

Lots of fun.

The dinosaurs are among us! The main character is a velociraptor.
