this story is very touching just shows we all have a guardian angel watching over us very enjoyable
So far, I've really enjoyed the Augusta Goodnight series. This particular installment wasn't quite as good as the previous 2, but it wasn't bad by any means. I found a few plot points a little predictable and the cast of characters was a bit much to keep track of at times. And, I have to admit, if the characters had more familiar names, it would help. But names like Arminda, Vesta, and Gatlin all as main characters was a bit too much for me. I was also a little disappointed with how little Augusta herself really appeared in the book. I swear she was a more integral character in the previous books. Having said all that, however, I will continue to read the series because I really do enjoy it. I love the concept and can't wait to dive into the next one! :)
Another delightful cozy mystery with humor and light suspense! Author is Mignon F. Ballardwho also wrote An Angel to Die For and
Angel at Troublesome Creek!
This is an enjoyable story that just happens to involve a guardian angel in the person of Augusta Goodnight. The pace is relaxed, the southern admosphere is charming and pleasant, and the story works itself to a nice conclusion. I recommend it.
Meet Augusta Goodnight, guardian angel extroardinaire and the afterlife's best angel-slueth. Always on call, she's resourceful, wisecracking-and literally down-to-earth...
