This is number 11 in her Benni Harper series. I really wish that I had started at the beginning but that is a downfall in reading, I guess. Great protagonist, Benni Harper, is helping out at the opening of Broken Dis (Broken Dishes - nickname) guest ranch. Human bones are found on a horse ride that brings Hud to investigate and her hubby, Gabe, distrusts immensely with his wife. Good character development and surprises in the story make it an enjoyable read.

Every book in this series just gets better than the one before.

This was an interesting setting, turning a ranch into a retreat and vacation center. The mystery was good too, not what I expected.
