Lois hires two new cleaners, one a man and the other a woman from a troubled family. The disappearance of the woman's brother, her twin, begins a series of events that involves the whole town, and sets Lois on a new investigation.

Joy L. (Third book in this great series! Lois Meade is up to her "amateur sleuthing" again, collaborating with Inspector Cowgill with very unintended consequences. This book, IMHO is the best I have read so far. Alot of plot twists, good character development, and a surprise ending make it a great cozy read.
Another exciting adventure with Lois Meade ... This one involves a strange reclusive family. Enjoyable reading!
3rd in series...Entertaining story of working class Lois Meade and Detective Inspector Cowgills adventures solving murder...Each story is humorous with intelligent story lines and just the right amount of twists and turns in the plot...highly recommended for folks who like to follow the same characters from book to book.
