This was a fun read and interesting also! The story is basically about a scientist who is part of a study of a new "fossil". This fossil is not what it appears to be and the twists & turns go from there. The ending is not what you would expect, it isn't the typical end for this type of book and I eagerly await a sequel.

A strange accident in an italian lake uncovers the find of the millenium for a palentologist, but when the fossil is released from its rocky crypt its more than they bargained for!! A great page turner from this author who kept my interest the whole way. Very nice turn on the monster you dont know....

This is a fast, light read. There are some aspects of the story that never get fully explained. But if you're looking for a quick thriller, this is it.
