I adored "Sit, Stay, Slay", the first book in this series, and while I didn't like it as much as the first, the ferret-themed second book was pretty fun. However, I could just not get into this one! Like the 2 books preceding it, Kendra pretty much has the same pattern for everyday: check on the pets she sits (always this is included, but nothing interesting with the pets ever happens) she goes to work and then goes home with her kinda boyfriend. Then, a murder happens and Kendra kind of s-l-o-w-l-y gets pulled into it. The pattern has gotten very dull for me, and Kendra has not really grown or become more interesting. I wanted to love this, but I just couldn't get into it at all.

A fun cozy, pefect for animal lovers. No. 3 in the Kendra Ballantyne Pet Sitter Mysteries.

I like this author, funny but keeps it exciting.

When a coworker is found murdered and Kendra's boyfriend is the main suspect, she investigates to clear his name.

I enjoyed this book and the characters!!! She really needs new luck!!! LOL

Another enjoyable entry to this series, this one about a macaw. Well written, easy reading.

I love animal mysteries and this is one of my favorite series.

I love her books they are full of what we women really think...humor and the killer had me fooled till the very end :) Great read

A great addition to the pet sitter mystery series. I think each book in the series gets better.

This book was both funny and fun. I hope Johnston writes more!
