The second book in the Gargoyles series. I found Vickie Taylor's latest books to be a fresh new angle in paranormal romance with some steamy sex and great edge of your seat "What's going to happen next?" style that I couldn't put down.

This book was great and way better than the first one in my opinion. I loved the main characters Connor and Mara. Even though I thought it was better than "Carved In Stone" I'm still glad that I read the first book because it definitely lays the ground work for the second book's plot. And I always like revisiting characters that I got to know in a previous story.

This book is an intriguing paranormal romantic fantasy that makes believers out of readers that gargoyles exist. I love the idea of there being guardian angels out there that protect the weak. If you like an action filled paranormal romance you will throughly enjoy this book.

Took a little bit to get into the book, but was I started it I didnt want to put it down. Another author for LKH and Christine Feehan lovers. Instead of vampires and shapeshifters we go into the world of Gargoyles.
