Book Description:
Once a pharaoh, Adrian King has awakened thousands of years later as a vampire. Now the owner of the Royal Palace in Las Vegas, he is falling for Egyptologist Christine Day. But others have awakened who will not rest until Adrian is destroyed again, even if it means taking the only true love he's ever known.

HE RETURNED FROM DEATH...
Venerable pharaoh and ancient god of the Nile, Adrian King once sat upon his throne and led his people nobly, only to be betrayed. But a sacred ritual has allowed him to reawaken thousands of years after his death -- as a vampire. Now the owner of the Royal Palace, a hotel and casino in Las Vegas, he is haunted by dreams of a beautiful woman--and by the dawning of an evil presence.

...AND BROUGHT HER FANTASIES TO LIFE.
Egyptologist Christine Day is drawn to the Royal Palace by its breathtaking authenticity. She is the woman Adrian has been dreaming of, the only one who can evoke real sensual passions in this fierce warrior and leader. Compelled to share his well-kept secret with Christine, he puts her at great risk. For others have awakened who will not rest until Adrian is destroyed again, even if it means taking the only true love he's ever known.

Author goes into excruciating detail about mummification and all things Egyptian. The rest of the story seemed to have gaps though. Maybe it was just because my eyes were glazing over after reading the description of events from the point of view of both characters, over and over. Decided to stop before I finished when I realized that cleaning the cat box held more appeal.

Dumb and predictable; even though it was short, it was a struggle to finish.

I've always loved Egyptian myth so this was an interesting twist on the paranormal romance story.

This book was so uninteresting that i didn't even finish the first chapter. the main character was unsympathetic and even slightly disturbing. didn't care for it.
