Book Description:
Saba Watanabe's enslavement to the black dragon Malcolm left the powerful witch shaken and vulnerable. But when she's assaulted by a white dragon in human form, the only one who can help her is the dangerously seductive Malcolm. With his attraction for Saba still at a feverish high, Malcolm agrees to help her track down the white dragon terrorizing the San Francisco streets.

But Malcolm, too, has become vulnerable - victim of a spell cast to drain his strength - and Saba may be the only one who can rescue him. The key to their survival is in a mysterious book hidden in the world of Dragonspace. When its profound secrets fall into the hands of the enemy, the life of every dragon in existence is threatened, and Saba must not only battle her desire for Malcolm but learn to use her rising powers to save his kind.

Another awesome read with witches, dragons, magic, romance, sex...this time the focus is on Saba Watanabe (a witch from the first book) and Malcolm (the black dragon. There's so many more wonderful characters, but no hint as to another book to follow...or is there a slight hint at the Chinese New Year Parade?????

I liked the first book in this series, Dragon Heat just enough to give James' second book a chance. There were many things I liked about it. I like the romance and tension between Saba and Malcom (the black dragon) better then the characters in the first book. There was more tension and more conflict to their relationship. However this book seriously bogged down in the middle with the endless fight scenes between the black and white dragon. I wish the author would spend more time on the relationship between the characters and less on the fight scenes which do not end up being that interesting. I doubt I will read any more in this series.

I couldn't wait to hear what happen with Black Dragon after reading the first book. I was not disappointed. I really wanted the love birds to get together.

This was the second book in Allyson James' Dragon series, and while I didn't like it as much as the first one, it was only because Malcolm, the black dragon, was not as likable a character as Caleb was in the first one. I did like that the characters remained the same, and that we visited with previous characters again. The book was definitely well written, and it was also erotic enough to make me look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Even better than book 1: Dragon Heat. Book 3: The Dragon Master is due out soon.

These books are set in Chinatown in San Francisco and carry much of the flavor of that busy, exotic neighborhood in one of my favorite towns.
