Book Description:
For delizioso pasta, go to Dante's. For a sumptuous Cordon Bleu, go to Vivi's. To really heat things up -- get them together.

Since his wife's untimely death, Anthony Dante has thrown himself into his cooking, making his restaurant, Dante's, a Brooklyn institution. So far, his biggest problem has been keeping his retired hockey star brother out of the kitchen. But now, a mademoiselle is invading his turf. And you know what they say: too many chefs spoil the neighborhood...

Stunning Vivi Robitaille can't wait to showcase her tastebud-tingling recipes in her brand new bistro, Vivi's. Her only problem is an arrogant Italian chef across the street who actually thinks he's competition. The table is set for a culinary war, until things start getting spicy outside of the kitchen...

Another great book in this series. I am hooked. I am glad this book gave updates on past 'stars' of the series. A quick great read.

This was readable and enjoyable. However, I really feel that Deirdre Martin follows the same formula in every book- boy meets girl, boy and girl get together, boy and girl break up over some seemingly insurmountable obstacle, boy and girl overcome obstacle and live happily ever after. Anthony and Vivi are not different. Vivi comes to Brooklyn from France to open a restaurant. Anthony's family restaurant is across the street. They argue, compete and fall very quickly in love. It was nice to see some of the characters from Martin's previous books.

Im not a big romance fan but I really enjoy her books. They are funny with a bit of light hearted romance.

I can't wait for her next book in the series.

Her books get better and better. I enjoyed the interactions between Anthony and Vivi. It was also great to see Michael Dante struggling with being a stay at home, and cousin Gemma with a new baby and maybe another on the way!

I have enjoyed this entire series of books. This one branches off a bit from the NY Blades team members. It focuses on Anthony who is the brother to one of the players. he has been a fixture in several previous books because of his resturant (the NY Blades official eating place). This novel focuses on Anthony and a new chef in town who is planning to open a shop right across the street. Anthony is still broken hearted over the loss of his police officer wife a year or so back. He deffinately does NOT want to make nice with the ladies and has NO intention of ever falling in love again.... Well, Anthony has a few suprises coming his way and the main ingredient? LOVE....
