Since I make my living as a preternatural expert, I tend to believe almost anything's possible. But though he may be one of the monsters, Richard would never harm a woman. So here I am in the wilds of Tennessee, Anita to the rescue. I've got just a few days to spring Richard and find out who framed him -- and why.
There's a full moon coming, and if my werewolf love is still behind bars when it rises, he'll be facing a lot worse than an assault charge...
This book was another great one in the series. Anita tries to gain a better understanding of her growing power, but has "normal" reactions to the ways in which she needs to work with and control it. The story is very sensual and erotic and not for prudes. This is a story for those who know what to expect from vampires and such and not for those who are looking for a cozy, monogamous, everyday and warm-hearted read. In my opinion, the issues that Anita deals with can and do happen to a lot of people in the quest for that certain someone, and I like that Hamilton expresses it through her story. I look forward to the rest in the series!
