My seven year old really enjoyed this story. He read through it quickly and easily and found it very funny.
When Junie doesn't get invited to "meanie Jim's" birthday party, that consists of a petting zoo, she is horribly upset. She frets about it untilt he principal intervenes, but on the day of the party do some other surprises await Junie B?

A cute Junie B. Jones book about not getting invited to someone's birthday party. We can all relate to that.

As always a fun, well written children's book. This author is truly a delight to read for both parent and child alike! Highly recommended for children 3rd grade (independent reading) or thereabouts and under (read by parent).

"That Jim," Junie B.'s least favorite classmate, is having a birthday party, and guess who's not invited? Hilarious high jinks are sure to ensue when somebody snubs our spunky heroine!
