This is the 6th Spenser novel. About the kidnapping of a feminist author. Good, solid Spenser tale.

When Spenser accepts a job as a "bodyguard" for a beautiful young woman, he gets in way over his head.
Great book, and Spenser meets his match for being tuff. Rachell Wallace is all and more than Spenser can handle.

One of the best Spenser tales. No real mystery here, just great detective work. This is one of the first books that really gets to the heart of what Spenser is all about. Knights in shining armor, damsels in distress, and and action-filled adventure that leaves you wanting more.
Spenser is trying to save Rachel. She doesn't want him around.
