One of Grisham's best...couldn't put this one down ... every page was better than the last ..full of class and suspense!

One of Grishams best, legal thriller takes you through murder, political coverups, Supreme Court Justices, all at at spine tingling clip...fast, exciting read, made into a major movie...

Two supreme court justices are murdered and a young law student writes a brief that sends her running for her life.

Been a while since I read this one, but it was my favorite John Grisham book. The movie was ok, but in my opinion it was a somewhat feeble attempt at portraying the book. There are some complexities (storylines, character development) in the novel that just didn't translate into the movie. Even if you've seen the movie, you should read this one - the story will make more sense!

A John Grisham book is always good, but this wasn't my favorite. There were SO MANY CHARACTERS introducted, at least 30, that I had to start writing down who everybody was and refer back to it.

Good story, but kind of scary to think about.

I LOVE GRISHAM's WORKS! This is one of my personal favorites, but it is slightly slower than a few of his other works.

Pretty good. Nothing like the movie, but that's not unusual. An "out to get the big bad corporate guys" book, in that way similar to Runaway Jury.

A definate thrill. Thsi book is 10 times the movie if you saw it. Intriguing and suspenseful as Darby Shaw realizes she is the target for a murder but she must figure out why.

A woman finds out that the person murdered was supposed to be her. Very very good book.
