Good book for older elementary school age. Takes place during WWII and many of the problems will be very recognizable to American children now facing problems caused by war in another country.

this book i have put on is about a girl who moves for the war ans she does not know it yet but her dad has to go to war and lily is mad at her dad for going to war cause she had lots of stiff planed and he just said he had to go to war..

Lily will spend the summer in Rockaway, her family's summer house. The summer of 1844- World War II has changed everyone's life. Her best frind Margret has moved a way. And much worse, Lily's father is going overseas to the war.
Theres no one Lily's age in Rockaway, until Albert a refugee from Hungrary with a secret sewn into his coat. Albert has lost most of his family to the war. Soon they begin to form a friendship.
