This is an excellent book which is very helpful to parents and/or caregivers of 5 year olds. It helped me to remember some of the idiosyncrasies of this age so I was better equipped to deal with my son.

Really great descriptions of 5yo's & what to expect for social & cognitive development :)

Written so that a child can understand. Don't quite get that part of it???? Everything you need to know from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night (including the proper times!).

Although the books in this series were published more than twenty years ago, they are great at identifying norms in behavior and feelings for each age. The author must have been very forward-thinking for her time!
