This is a totally new take on the vampire myth. I have read a lot of horror books and this is an exceptionally good book for a debut. I have read other novels of the author before this one, and I was amazed by the depth of this novel.
I thought this book was great. It is a fresh look at an old theme(namely vampires). Are the Shadows really vampires or something else entirely?
