Brandewyne always has lots of historical flavor in her books. The people read just as they must have been like and sounded like.

I read this bk years ago and have kept a copy for my keeper shelf. Heroine walks with a limp; she was badly injured during a terrible, terrible incident in her past. Deeply moving love story.

This is from my keeper shelf. I have read it numerous times over the years-well worn but loved this book. I really enjoyed the main characters in this story. Very good read.

fabulous love story

But now a feared and desparate renegade has entered her life. Desire burning in his ice blue eyes, he will tempt her to risk the damnation of her world---and amid endless danger, dare her to let her love blossom into a joyous and lawless passion.

I'm not a fan of the romance novels, so I didn't even read it through. I will say it was, as far as I read, a typical, graphic romance novel. If you like this stuff, I'm sure it would be a good read.
