Great story line and inside view of the mafia and Long Island upper crust. A bit drawn out, but good.

I didn't enjoy the story line that well. It was something I had a hard time relating to. The female characters were unbelievable and the voice of the male characters did not ring true.

I'd give this a 4 out of 5. Pretty good. I like the way DeMille writes.

A great read by Demille. The Upper class Gold Coast of Long Island, A wall street Jopurnal man and his new neighbor get involved in the most amazing ways. From crime to humour, this book has it all. Friendship,suduction,love, and betrayal. The author is so witty at times I laughed out loud.
