One of my all time favorite books, have read it several times this is a spare copy that someone gave me wouldnt think of parting with my hardcover

Great historical novel. Iloved it. A smooth blending of past and present works like a pendulum, swinging back to the Pilgrams and forward to their descendants. Martin is a great story teller.

Read this many years ago, and I still remember it. The history part is great.

I don't know why, but I just couldn't get into this book. Tried 2 or 3 times, telling myself it should be good, but no dice...
