Does cheating have to have a physical aspect? Is there such a thing as emotional cheating? This author does a very good job revolving around this touchy issue. To begin the book, Eve, eight months pregnant with her second child, and her family are enjoying a peaceful Thanksgiving dinner, when the phone rings and her husband leaves the room to answer it. When he doesn't quickly return, she goes in search of him, to find him consoling a distraught woman on the phone. When she asks who it is, he says it's just a friend. Well, you can tell at that moment, that all the peaceful tranquility has gone out the window. From that point, it is an emotional roller coaster for both Eve and Jon, as well as for their friends and family.

Does she forgive him? Extremely pregnant, to whom will she turn? Will their friends choose sides? Or, will they try to force them into reconciliation? Was their love true love? And will it be able to survive this unfaithfulness to win out in the end? I suggest you pick up this book and find out for yourself. While some might consider this as "Chick-Lit", I feel the subject matter is way to serious to be described as such. When you read this book, be ready for an extremely emotional ride!!

Good book! I found myself so invested in what was happening in the story and connected with the feelings of the characters. Can't wait to read her other books!
