A page-turning tale of a lowly baker's apprentice discovering his powers. Second in the trilogy.

A solid read which makes you hungry for the third and concluding book of the series. Much of fantasy is lessened by a total lack of realism, but not so with this series. Instead these books are given the heft of reality by the addition of a dash of gritty descriptions not found in fluff novels.
