I really loved this book. Fast read, because you can't put it down. All of Ms. Garlock's book as special, and this is on the top for me. It is set in Kansas in 1935 and I just love this time and place period. It is murder, suspense, justice, love and actually one of her best reads. I wanted more from Molly and the federaL agent Hod, I want a continuing novel on this couple.

Very good. You get a great sense of the 1930's.
The series including "With Hope" "With Song" and "With Heart" are excellent. Very difficult to put down. I was disappointed there were only to be three in the series, until I learned the characters would be included in "After the Parade"
This is the first Dorothy Garlock book I've ever read and I love it! Talking about the old days is so interesting!
Great period writing. Garlock really sets a scene and evokes the American prairie.

Portrayal of the 1930's tragedy and love in a small town. Times were hard then. This book allows us to see what it was like then. We see how families stayed together and worked together in order to survive during this turbulent time. Even listeners who normally shun romances will enjoy this book, for the suspense, the interesting setting, and believable characters.
Seward County, Kansas, 1935. Molly McKenzie tries to help the Federal agents to trap the people who killed her parents, eventually love seems possible.
Seward County, Kansas 1935. Molly McKenzie's world is shattered when gunmen pull into the family store. Hod Dolan, the federal agent, is determined to see justice done and needs Molly's help. Another good book by Dorothy Garlock.
This is an excellent book in a trilogy, though there was a 4th book put out later that two of the evolving/continous characters from this trilogy star in.
