Laurie G. (The main character is a spinster in 1820 and a collector of antique glass (i.e. she's rather smart, too...). Her brother is abducted and she decides to enlist the help of a very dangerous man who is also a highly eligible bachelor. Sparks fly...great suspense and romance!
