Keeps you guessing, very interesting, i liked it a lot, I thought i knew who did it twice and at the end it was not any of the two.

One of the best murder/mysteries I've ever read. Kept me in doubt and guessing till the very end. Easy read, chapters flowed well. Published in 1998, but better than the "cookie-cutter" who done its they put out now, this one is special.

A terrific muder mystery that also deals with issues like how racism and gossip ruin a small town. The ending left me stunned!

Seward Island is a tranquil community in the heart of the Puget Sound. But now, the daughter of a prominent family has been found murdered, her bloodied body rolled into a carpet and thrown into a Dumpster. While the killing sends police on a search for suspects, it takes the poepl of Seward somewhere else: into their darkest prejudices and their worst fears, and to a very human evil living in their midst.

This is an excellent murder mystery. I thought I had the killer figured out (and it wasn't the man they arrested), but I was wrong. Definitely a surprise ending, but not a good one.
