Book Description:
Derek Strange is an ex-cop who now runs his own private detective agency. In "Right As Rain" George Pelecanos introduces a memorable new pair of characters (Derek Strange and Terry Quinn, ex cops turned private detectives) into the grittily real Washington DC landscape which has led to him being acclaimed as 'A great writer' who 'deserves to be listed among the best'.

This is definitely a new author for me and the story-line is exceptional, the characters compelling and the plot tight. I'll be looking for more from Pelecanos.

No one writes urban crime novels as well as Pelecanos.
