Another Cajun story from Sandra Hill. This one's my favorite; it's Remy LeDeux's story - tall, dark & Cajun (just like the title!), but badly scarred (he's a pilot - bad war experience -the angst! *sigh*). Rachel Fortier, D.C. decorator, sick of rich boyfriend always hounding her to exercise & generally re-make herself, dumps the chump & comes down to the bayou to meet/live with her granny. Sparks fly, of course, & as usual with Sandra, there's some low-down, dirty, snake-in-the-grass baddies, too.

From the back:
After finally dumping her fiance, whose idea of romance was making sure she toned her butt and abs, decorator Rachel Fortier hightails it out of DC, straight for Cajun country. Throw in a pet alligator named Useless, a herd of Southerners born and bred, and Remy LeDeux, the smoldering-eyed pilot angling for her family's property, and Rachel's in for a passel of trouble.
Lot of fun to read!
