Book Description:
Detective Lindsay Boxer is jogging along a beautiful San Francisco street when a fiery explosion rips through the neighborhood. A town house owned by an Internet millionaire is immediately engulfed in flames, and when Lindsay plunges inside to search for survivors, she finds three people dead. An infant who lived in the house cannot be found - and a mysterious message at the scene leaves Lindsay and the San Francisco Police Department completely baffled.
Then a prominent businessman is found murdered under bizarre circumstances, with another mysterious message left behind by the killer. Lindsay asks her friends Claire Washburn of the medical examiner's office, Assistant D.A. Jill Bernhardt, and Chronicle reporter Cindy Thomas to help her figure out who is committing these murders-and why they are intent on killing someone every three days.
Even more terrifying, the killer has targeted one of the four friends who call themselves the Women's Murder Club.

Another excellent read by James Patterson!! This one was a bit harder, as one of the Women's Murder Club books is in danger, but the plot twists and Lt Boxer's perseverance kept me reading late into the night.

James Patterson has become something of a formula writer but that's not a bad thing in the case of this series. He keeps the reader interested not only in the crime solving aspect but in the character development as well.

I've read several James Patterson murder mysteries and this is one of my favorites. Good book to take along on vacation.

A lot of details but you don't get lost. Fast paced and keeps you hooked. I really enjoy the Lindsay Boxer character.
James Patterson is a good writer. This is a good series. I also would reccomend
other people to read his books. They are hard to put down. Also he writes teenage
books which are for young adults.

I felt this book was lacking the twists and action that the first two books provided the reader. Even at that, I have a hard time putting down Patterson's books.
Diane (Excellent third book in the Women's Murder Club series. I highly recommend it.
Linda (This book in the series was especially heartwrenching when one of the club dies..but it makes the read even better because it becomes personal and I really felt for the remaining trio. A superior read.
