WHEN THE WIND BLOWS, the most brilliant and original "what if" suspense novel to come along in a decade, has somehow surpasses the page-turning chills of James Patterson's megabestsellers CAT & MOUSE and KISS THE GIRLS.
Frannie O'Neill, a young and talented veterinarian whose husband was recently murdered, comes across an astonishing discovery in the woods near her animal hospital. Soon after, Kit Harrison, a troubled and unconventional FBI agent, arrives on Frannie's doorstep. And then there is eleven-year-old Max -Frannie's amazing discovery - and one of the most unforgettable creations in thriller fiction.
WHEN THE WIND BLOWS will not just thrill readers. It will make their imaginations soar.
GREAT story - what a page turner. I immediately had to get The Lake House to find out what happened next.

WOW!!! I had this on my TBR for 2 years. I can't believe I waited so long!!! It blew me away within the first 2 chapters. It has very short, quick, intense chapters that keep you wanting to turn the pages. The story was awesom. Definitely one of my favorites.

Amazing how Mr. Patterson can write as though he were a man, a female, or a 12-year-old child. He will have you weaved through his fingers. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip with Frannie, Kip (Tom), and mostly Max. Elizabeth from Maine

I was able to read this book in a weekend - it is one of those page turners that is hard to put down. Even though the plot is a bit unrealistic, the author makes you feel as though it could really happen.

Excellent Patterson book. Lots of twists and turns. Characters were different from his normal stuff. I couldn't put this down -- read it in 3 days.
