Book Description:
The honeymoon is over--now the murders can begin. America's #1 thriller writer returns with his sexiest, scariest novel ever. Hotter than The Beach House and scarier than Kiss the Girls, James Patterson's explosive new thriller introduces a bride who is beautiful, talented, devoted--and deadly. When a young investment banker dies of baffling causes, FBI agent John O'Hara immediately suspects the only witness, the banker's alluring and mysterious fianc'e. Nora Sinclair is a beautiful decorator who expects the best, and will do anything to get it. Agent O'Hara keeps closing in, but the stronger his case, the less he knows whether he's pursuing justice or his own fatal obsession. In a novel so compelling it reads like a collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock, James Patterson unveils surprise after surprise that will keep readers guessing until the last deadly kiss.

I am the first to admit that I LOVE James Patterson's books. This one was no exception! A beautiful woman unfortunately followed by death. An FBI agent mixed up with shady business. Oh, and the recurring phrase, things may not be what the seem. Oh, if you are in the habit of turning to the last few pages before the end of the book, DON'T!

This is a good summer read. Exciting and fun but not so complicated in its plot that you have to worry about losing the thread of the story.

Living the high life, Nora Sinclair figures she has it made. When FBI agent John O'Hara meets her she seems perfect. From there mysterious things start to happen...there is a dark secret that lurks in unexplaioned parts of her past. What a past!

There is something dangerous and alluring about Nora Sinclair. FBI agent John O'Hara is investigating her for both perfessional and private reasons. An entertaining read.

Typical Patterson book in that it kept you wondering until the end BUT this time the end disappointed me. We deserved more on the end of the villain. All in all it was a pretty good read.

This book was great, although not my favorite Cross series. As usual James patterson is able to keep you in suspense into the very end of this book and keep wondering "What next?" A really good book!

I don't think I have yet read a stand alone book by Patterson that was worth my while reading. This is another one of those I wish I could have gotten my time back and read something worth reading.

A serial killer- black widow- knock off her spouses for fun and profit. Take a glamorous alluring woman and a tough but sensitive (and susceptible) FBI agent and you have non stop surprise episodes of.... things are not what they seem. And the body count accumulates... From mansions to vynil covered sofas in dreary flats, from taxis to benz and jags... the plot twists and turns and you cannot put it down! Well, maybe for dinner... Enjoy

This was a really good book. Most books you're like "YOU GO GIRL", but in this one, she is just down right mean! Very interesting book.

Very fast-paced book. She's a black widow--suspected of killing her rich boyfiend, a previous husband, while married to another and plotting his murder. The FBI man, sent to investigate her, falls under her charms and into her bed as well. Will he be able to stop himself in time before he becomes her 4th victim? Don't read the last few pages ahead of the story. Save it for the end and be surprised!!

How does it feel to be desired by every man and envied by every woman? Wonderful. This is the life Nora Sinclair has dreamed about, the life she's worked hard for, the life she will never give up.

When FBI Agent John O'Hara first sees her, she seems perfect. She has the sophistication, The tantalizing sex appeal. The whold extraordinary package, And men fall in line to court her. She doesn't just attract men he enthralls them.

So why is the FBI so interested in Nora Sinclair? Mysterious thins keep happening to people around her, especialy the men. And there is something dangerous about Nora--something that lures Agent O'Hara at the same time that it fills him with fear. Does a dark secret lurk behind the unexplained gaps in her past? And as he spends more and more tme getting to know her. is he pursuing justice? or his own fatial Obsession?

My first James Patterson read. Maybe I shouldn't have started with this one. I was a little disappointed.

Good book, a little predictable at times but it kept my attention for the most part.
