Ethel I. (This novel, a "debut" for its pseudonymous author, is being touted widely as the "female Bridges of Madison County," and it should appeal to the same audience. McKinnon is purported to have published seven literary novels under her real name, which was not divulged at press time. The story centers around a newly divorced woman and her journey back to the locale of her first "true" love some 20 years before?an idyllic lakeside retreat in New England.

This is a beautiful love story. Reminds me of Nicholas Sparks, it's a good tearjerker.
