Gaylene G. (Follett tells, in intimate detail, the stories of a dozen or so characters and the action takes place during a single day in the life of crooks, bankers, call girls, the stock market,a London newspaper and politicians, whose lives are all intertwined for this one day. From a bank heist to the sale of a huge corporation brought about by blackmail, Follett carries you through this fast paced day with his usual mastery of action and suspense.
