I remember that this book scared the bejesus out of my when I read it int 8th grad. It wasn't so bad no, but I still had weird dreams a few nights after reading it. LOL I even had to read it between other books because after awhile it would be too much and I'd get to creeped out or spooked from a few of the stories and would need a change of pace.

While reading this, it never fails to amaze me though, that after all the years of reading Stephen King, that's he's one of the few authors that can make me laugh, cry or want to curl up in fetal position and suck my thumb! He's just amazing!

I'm reading this book right now, and I LOVE it. It has a couple stories that were turned to movies: This Mist, awesome story - awesome movie & The Raft, from Creepshow 2, great story and movie. I have a hard time putting this book down because the stories are so capitivating & they keep you on the edge of your seat. I actually never want some of the stories to end. A great read for any King fan.

I read this book as a young teenager and it made a huge impact! I'm not quite sure what the title of the story is, but the story I enjoyed the most was the story of the young boy left alone with his grandmother whom he feared was a witch.

Though all of my numbers match, my cover is different from that posted.

If you like Stephen King, you'll love this book. The cover on mine has a different picture (a monkey with cymbals).
