I'm not a King fan, but this series was great! The Green Mile represents the last walk taken by condemned prisoners. Is John Coffey a vicious murder of children, or a gentle giant wrongfully accused? Set in 1932, this story of murder, mystery and miracles is told from the point of view of a prison guard.

So far, so good. I usually have a hard time getting into Stephen King books...even though I love his stories...because of the sheer amount of detail he always includes, but the Green Mile series is excellent so far. I look forward to the next installment in the series.

Cold Mountain Penitentiary has been home to many troubled souls. E Block, where the electric chair waits for those who must pay the ultimate price, has been home to the most troubled of all. Loved it!!

This was an okay book. It's a very short read.

Great series. All six books are a great read!

As always Stephen King keeps us with our eyes glued to the pages.
