I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I love how Bentley Little takes something out of our everyday lives and turns it into an insane horror story. This book started my quest on reading every book written by Bentley Little.

I love Bentley Little and his Books....I am a huge fan and read almost all of his books....you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read the last few on my book shelf. This Story reminds me of Wal mart.....Very scary.

This was an interesting premise. A national chain comes into a small town and destroys the local economy. It is accomplished slowly, insidiously and sometimes with a supernatural twist. I want to know what King is, what the night managers are and what happened to Sam. These are all questions that add to the 'Horror" nature of this novel.

Bentley Little is a great horror writer. If you enjoy books by authors such as Stephen King and Dean Koontz, you will probably also like Bentley Little. In this book, a new business called The Store moves into a small town and totally takes over. Once someone applies to work at The Store, there is no turning back. I loved this book! I didn't expect it to be as good as it actually was. Once I started reading it, I could hardly put it down! If you like horror novels, you should love this one!

Juniper, Arizona is an off-the-map desert town the retail giant called The Store has choosen for its new location. Now everything you could possibly want is under one roof, at really good prices. BUT you better be careful what you wish for. The place demands something of its customers that goes beyond brand loyalty. At The Store, one stop shopping becomes last-stop shopping.

In a small Arizona town, a man counts his blessings: a loving wife, two teenage daughters, and a job that allows him to work at home. Then "The Store" announces plansto open a local outlet, which will surely finish off the small downtown shops. His concerns grow when "The Store's"builders ignore all the town's zoning laws during itsconstruction. Then dead animals are found on "The Store's" grounds. Inside, customers are hounded by obnoxious sales people, and strange products appear on the shelves. Before long the town's remaining small shop owners disappear, and "The Store" spreads its influence to the city council and the police force, taking over the town! It's up to one man to confront "The Store's" mysterious owner and to save his community, his family, and his life!
