One of Stephen King's better novels, originally written under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. This is a delightfully psychological work about a man whose life is drastically affected by the construction of a new highway.

Before they tear down a road that is important to him, Bart Dawes will throw one big party and with this author it will be a good one.

King is never disappointing! One mans' struggle against eminent domain is wearing him down.

By Stephen King, writing as Richard Bachman. Still the same creatively demented writer we all love to read, even by a different name!

Bart Dawes is standing in the way of progress. A new highway extension is being build over the laundry plant where he works, and . . . . right over his home! Before the city paves over that portion of Dawe's life, he's got one more party to throw--and it'll be a BLAST! . . .

This is a great early book of King's (writing as Bachman) that any fan of his needs to grab. Good stuff.
