Book Description:
Tour guide Mara MacDougall stops at a London antique shop-and spots perhaps the handsomest bed ever. Then she bumps into the handsomest man ever. Soon Mara can't forget the irresistible-if haughty-Highlander. Not even when she learns that she's inherited a Scottish castle.

Spectral Sir Alexander Douglas has hated the Clan MacDougall since he was a medieval knight and they tricked him into a curse-the curse of forever haunting the bed (the very one that Mara now owns) that was once intended for his would-be bride. But Mara makes him feel what no other MacDougall has-a passion that he never knew he'd missed.

I purchased this book because of the title and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it! It's a delightful, witty romp with a ghostly Highlander!

This paranormal romance set in the Scottish Highlands was lots of fun. And I think she set up a few more to come. I can't wait to see what's next.

Allie Mackay will not disappoint you in her novel Highlander in her Bed. It is a great book to curl up and read on a cold winter day. I also suggest that you read Highlander in her Dreams...You will enjoy it also!

If she spent more time on the wonderful story and less time trying to force eroticism onto every page, I think it would have been a better story. I spent a lot of time thinking, "Come on, come on, get to the story already." It is a cute storyline.

Doesn't have that little extra something that a time travel should have. Really kind of blah. But it's an okay read if you like time travels.

Mara owns and operates a tour guide service. Her current trip is leading a group of ghost hunters throughout London. During this trip she is contacted by a lawyer, who tells her that she has inherited a castle in Scotland.
When Mara finds an old four poster bed in a antique shop in London and meets the man that is protecting it, she decides that she has to have it for the castle. Little does she know the bed is not protected by a man, but rather a ghost, who will stop at nothing to keep the MacDougalls from sleeping in it.
Medieval Sir Alexander Douglas, of the bed, and Mara find themselves at odds when they all reach the castle.
How can a modern woman fall in love with a ghost? Better yet, how can she keep him?

A fun book to while away some time...didn't get into a lot of historical detail, but it was a fun tribute to the Highlands, and a sexy romance.
