Not a bad book, however the author repeats the evidence too much. By the time he gets to the last trial, you've read it all more than once. He also portrays the family as just short of sainthood. No family is that perfect. Just my two cents.

THIS was one heck of a book. The final chapters were a little rushed, and they were not easily read or particularly well written, but up to the last 25 pages or so, the book was absorbing and hard to put down.

Elizabeth DeCaro appeared to have everything-a beautiful home, devoted husband and four wonderful children. When she was found murdered exectuion-style in the kitchen of her home, the community of St. Charles, Missouri was shocked and saddened. Elizabeth's sister Melanie believed that Rick DeCaro, the so-called perfect husband and father was responsible for the crime, even though he had an airtight alibi. This amazing book tells of the heartache Elizabeth's family had to endure to bring her killer to justice. A definite must-read for anyone who enjoys the true crime genre.
