I gave this book a good rating because it was a well written thriller/mystery, like a "Basic Instinct" kind of story. But I think it is sold sooooo incorrectly. This NOT an erotica book in the genre sense as there is no explicit sex in it. There is a lot of sexual innuendo, and sexual tension, but no detailed sex scenes. So if you're into erotica, don't be fooled by the sales pitch on this book. "Darkness Bound" and the cover imply some kind of BDSM book, but there is no such thing within its pages. Otherwise, it's a good thriller.

I'm speechless....... this book truly explores the evil that lies in every woman, and the darkness that lies in every man. I'm hooked, I've got to read more from him.

I too do not consider this book erotic. BUT, it is very dark and disturbing in some ways. If you like your murder thrillers with a touch of sex and obsession, then you will enjoy this book. It also bring out the concept that none of us REALLY know what we would do until we're faced with a certain situation. It had a few twists and turns but not a lot of total surprises. I was a little surprised that so many details came out so early in the book. A couple of situations were a bit silly and not very realistic. But it still kept me interested up to the end.

I got this hoping for much more. To be honest it was a predictable piece of mystery. I will admit the erotica was ok, but just was not that good of a read.
