I had never read any of the April Woo mysteries before and all I can say is I will definitely try to hunt up the others. This police procedural was very good, it kept me guessing. Someone is gunning down brides- and the cops try to figure out who is behind the crimes, the cast of suspects includes a gay hairdresser who takes in war criminals, a wedding director with a troubled past, a mild-mannered man who sews wedding gowns, a famous, rich fashion designer, and more. The wedding planners close ranks when the detectives question them, are they protecting the killer, and if so, why?
If you like police procedurals or mysteries, you will like this.

I love all of the April Woo series, especially the scenes with Skinny Dragon, April's mom. This was a very good addition to these
police procedurals.

Great book in the April Woo series,which never disappoints. Best to read these in order.
I enjoyed the pace, no nonesince delivery of the book that kept the story line flowing while still allowing you to have a connection to Detective April Woo's private life.
