Book Description:
So far, Kathie Williams has made a good showing as the only American author at a mystery conference in Manchester-what with that falling asleep in public thing behind her. The sight of Iain MacLaren wakes her up. Clad in a deliciously woolly sweater, the burly Scotsman seems to be holding up a wall at the cocktail party. She's feeling a wee bit nervous. Because she can't tell where this "relationship" is going-except north...

While I was reading this, I kept wondering why the heroine wanted to be with this guy. This one kept me away from Macalister's contemps. I'll stick to her paranormals.

I didn't like this as much as I'd hoped. Kathie was very annoying, and the "bad guys" - Bridget and Archie -- were too venomous to make this the light-hearted comic romance I was axpecting.

A merge of romance and chick-lit, this is about the wacky adventures of a woman who falls instantly in love with a Scot and goes to live with him on his sheep farm in Scotland. Funny, but I found the plot too episodic and the heroine far too hysterical; I got tired of it all around half-way through.

Fun! Fun! Fun! I have enjoyed every book I have ever read by Katie MacAlister and this is no exception! From the first chapter I was in stitches and stayed that way! Loved it!

it was very funny...its about this scot who meets this American girl while shes at a book conference in England. They imediatly fall in lov- wait not love but lust...and then hes takin her home to his sheep farm in Scottish Highlands, where trouble awaits them...
Not my favorite of MacAlister's books, but definitely worth the read! Who wouldn't love a dishy Scot in a kilt? ;)
A fun read - the page ends of this book are flipped up a bit, and the bottom corner is a bit bent.
It's men in Kilts, need I say more!
