A GREAT OLD TIME ENGLISH WHO DONE IT!

Jury joins forces with Brian Macalvie, a hot-tempered chief superintendent who believes the killings stem from an old injustice that he wishes to right. Their investigation, which starts at a desolate pub called Help the Poor Struggler, leads them to the estate of a ten-year-old orphaned heiress - and into the murky truths linking the past with a slaying yet to come.... One of the better Jury mysteries. I love Grimes subtle sense of humor.
I love Martha Grimes' books. I discovered her recently, and have read nearly all of them already!
