I loved the entire series as a whole, but the ending of this last book in the series, made no sense at all. It was completely rushed and came from out of left field. Left me dissapointed. However the characters that Stohmeyer created are unforgettable, and i will never forget how much these books made me laugh out loud!
Its a great series, and i do reccomend them!

Another great Bubbles book by Strohmeyer! I think this one is actually my favorite. There was so much going on in Bubbles life and such an undercurrent of deception & intrigue that it made for a highly entertaining read. I'm not sure about the ending though. It was a bit too ridiculous and I don't see how Strohmeyer is going to play it out in the next few books in the series. I'll just have to wait and see before making a decision on whether or not she went to far with that one! I was pleased to see Bubbles acting a bit more intelligent in this one. In one of the others she was dumbed-down too much, which bugged me as she is not truly that dumb. Not well-read and dumb are two different things and I'm glad Strohmeyer steered clear of the dumbness in this one.

Then Ending was bit unreal, even for Bubbles or Strohmeyer.

Wow- I'm amazed at the universal praise this one has received. While it has some of the zany humor of the previous books the ending basically wipes away the meaning of all of the previous series written. I had a few smiles and Bubbles is worth it but the ending was ridiculous, the mystery uninteresting and I was pretty disappointed. I can't imagine where the series could go from here and suspect this may be the last. Worth reading for a bit of the old sparkle but this is by no means Strohmeyer's best outing.

Everyone needs to get aquainted with Bubbles and her family. Fast, entertaining and funny. If you like Evanovich books, you will like this author also

Bubbles Yablonsky's personal life is a disaster. Her ex-husband is black-mailing her into remarrying him, her recently traumatized daughter is acting like a zombie, and a mysterious Santa Claus is stalking her. Now her best friend Sandy, owner of the House of Beauty, has been blamed for the accidental death of one of her clients when Debbie Statsky dies from a lethal reaction to the glue on her hair-extensions. But Bubbles knows it was not an accident and that Sandy has been set up.
Good mystery with some very funny scenes. I certainly didn't figure out whodunit. The ending is a little strange. I figure this is the last book in a very good series.

Sarah really knows how to make Bubbles come alive. I keep hoping there will be more to this series. I would love to know what happens next. Funny!

"Two Guys Community College" journalism graduate, Bubbles Yablonsky is off and running again in this 6th installment in the Bubbles series.
Spandex & leopard print clad, bubblegum chomping, in-your-face sexy former hairdresser, Bubbles is still barely hanging on to her job as a part-time reporter for the local paper while solving murders, dodging homicidal santas and raising her precocious teen-aged daughter.
Laugh-out-loud funny with likeable characters

Sarah Strohmeyer does it again. Fun story, kookie characters, plot twists out of left field. A great entertaining read.
